Its been a hot summer this year in Minnesota, and I have been trying to keep busy, I have been trying to update all I can. It's hard to do when there is so much fun stuff to do. So far this summer, we almost moved to Carver. We have had some ups and downs. I've been knitting hats for the North Mamorial Hospital in Mpls, and been doing other projects, I have been so creatively burnt out. But so ready to go. Jerid quilified for CDSC grant and now have been approved to be a Payed parent. I am now a working mom. Scary! I am so blessed I can work for my little boy and now I can make enough money to do some fun stuff for him, like get him school clothes and food for the end of the month. I'm looking forward to it. I have been trying to come up with new ways to make money, (who isn't) I have been taking my photography to
http://www.deviantart.com/ if you have never seen the sight I suggest it. You can find anything that is art there. It's awesome. Justin's band's have new CD's out. The Feng Shui Ninjas have Home Shuriten Kit, You can buy it on
http://www.cdbaby.com/ and Beth Kinderman and the Player Characters have More Songs about Robots and Death. It's all good listening. Worth buying!

Jerid is going to be starting the Summer Special Olympics soon, I'm signing him up for Bowling. I hope he enjoys it. If not, at least we tried, though if I know my not so little boy, he will love it. As for me, like most people, I have been going nuts trying to find away to make ends meet. The water heater broke, and we have no idea when we will have the money to fix it. We have to start fixing up our house to be able to live in it, not to mention to sell. If we wanted to move, it will not happen entill we can fix our own trailer. The Brandale trailer park will not let us sell as is. We have to sell to their standards, and we are not up to snuff at the moment. Its alittle dawnting. The up side is that the house in Carver is getting fixed up. Just hope the workers come back this week, they were supposed to show up last week after the inspecter showed up. They didn't they say this Monday, I hope that wasn't a lie like we got last week. Hope things get better.

Well it's flood season in most of the Midwest. It's the same in Carver MN. as well. This Picture, on the left was taken just last week, we went to the park in Carver MN and took some pictures of the park some of it was underwater but for the most part dry, and the pictures on the right was taken just two days ago...Same bridge, same park just two different water levels. The levee's are holding but the hope is no rain will show up till the water is down. The Carver House that that is being fixed for Justin's father in right on the other side of the levee and so far so good. Except the foot of water in the basement of the house. (picture on the left side is taken by Sara Dibble, the picture on the right side is taken by Justin Hartley)..The work on the Carver house is still underway, we are waiting on the weatherization (aka the CAP agency) To find a company that has a the best bid to continue on the work on the house. We are hoping that the bids come in soon. Time isn't quite on our side. We were thinking of doing a fundraiser at the Waconia Pizza Ranch next month...We are looking for volunteers if anyone is interested?

It's been a busy week. First the house in Carver finally got work started on it this week, trucks and workers started to tear down walls, changed the electrical wiring, started to work on the plumming. I went out to Paynesville this past weekend to a knitters retreat. The city of Carver is under a flood warning, the weather has been very warm this March the water has been rising in the river, I'll have pictures soon!
Jerid had an exciting weekend as well, he had his first compition for the Special Olympics swim team and he has gotten his first Blue ribbon ever! I am so proud of my little boy!
